Most kids will experience a typical fear or anxiety during their life time. Tests and other school related stress can often be a cause of such anxiety. Typical this does not develop into manifesting a phobia or anxiety disorder. However panic disorders can develop I children for other reasons.

As much as we would like to protect the innocence of children and prevent anything from interfering with their lives, it is not always possible. Children can be afflicted with certain types of anxiety disorders that are also seen in adults. Symptoms of such problems are various. A child might seem to fret a lot. They tend to be very hard on themselves and strive for perfection. The child might do the same task over and over again trying to get it perfect. They might also seek constant approval and reassurance from others.

OCD, or Obsessive-compulsive Disorder, can also be found in children. Unwanted compulsions and thoughts are the trademark of someone with OCD. OCD can also be seen in the repetition of rituals and routines that someone does to try and ease they anxiety. Children as young as 2 and 3 have been diagnosed though the typical age for children to suffer CD is 10. There are any number of signs for OCD like repeating the same task over and over again in an agitated manner, continually counting the same items and terror over possible mistakes they make.

Panic disorders are something different. Children can be diagnosed with panic attacks after suffering from at least two panic attacks. This is more common during adolescence.

Irrational fear of certain places, objects or situations can be a sign of children suffering anxiety disorders. A phobia is more than the causal fear children suffer over animals, the dark and weather. If a fear last for more than 6 months and inhibits their daily lives then it can be a phobia. Symptoms can include suffering from a stomach ache or headache, a tantrum, becoming clingy, or freezing in place when confronted with the fear.

Children can develop these types of problems when exposed to certain stressors like losing apparent and other traumatic events. Such experiences can manifest themselves in a loss of appetite as well as sleep and the worry of the event happening again.

The way these types of disorders manifest themselves can be different in adults and children. Children can’t understand or express their fears the same way an adult can. If you suspect that a child is suffering from anxiety or any of these issues they should be referred to their pediatrician.

The Root Cause: A Product Review
by Sandra Jacobs

The Root Cause is an ebook detailing a lifestyle technique that eliminated my Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, (OCD). It did this by helping me deal with ‘the root cause,’ behind all anxiety disorders. The method concentrates on OCD but I think the method would be helpful to anyone suffering from any anxiety disorder or stress related issue.

My OCD disorder eventually led to other anxiety disorders like panic attacks and phobias until I was finally at my wits end. There were many medications available to me from the doctor but there was nothing available to me from the medical community to help eliminate my OCD.

Unlike many treatments for OCD The Root Cause eliminated the reason behind my anxiety disorder and offered me more then medication, which only treated me, and often with the result of side effects that were in many cases as distressing as the condition itself.

The Root Cause provided a good deal of the information currently known about anxiety disorders like OCD and also detailed an effective method for dealing with them. The testimonials on the web site showed it to be well tested and proven and I decided to give it a try. In a very real way The Root Cause was able to bring together a great deal of resources that were able to combat, and eventually cure my debilitating anxiety disorder.

Pros of The Root Cause

By downloading The Root Cause as an ebook I was able to own and continually re-address areas of The Root Cause technique at my leisure.

The Root Cause has many applications, and I’m sure it could help anyone suffering from any kind of anxiety disorder.

While many programs insist that you sign up and download several steps, or lessons, The Root Cause was one simple download that contained all the information I needed to know about OCD and other anxiety disorders.

The Root Cause is designed to aid people who have only just developed OCD as well as people who have been suffering for years.

Final Words

The Root Cause helped me overcome my OCD but it has also helped a variety of people suffering from other anxiety related issues like panic attacks unrelated to OCD. The Root Cause addressed the continuing cycle present in all anxiety disorders by finding a ‘root cause’ for behind them and in the end completely ended my struggle with the condition.

Based on personnel experience with OCD the author of The Root Cause offers a completely natural method of dealing with anxiety and I was very impressed with the results. The side effects of OCD medication, for some like me, seem worse then the condition and The Root Cause was my perfect alternative.
